Dear Journal,
Recently I made a pledge to myself and signed up for school this upcoming spring semester. Registration was at ease with the help from a professional guidance counselor that was recommend by my mother, and the tuition was also covered by the full range motion from the financial aide (Which I’m dearly greatful for). During the days of school, I gradually learned how maturation of college life can be and how overwhelming it can be with the commute and ageless momentum. Classes and the hours are very flexible but some how, I also managed to sink some of my tests which proved to me that not only am I not dedicated to work but the whole progress towards my educational limitations. Last weekend as I was watching TV and observing my comparison towards life, I gradually began to understand my acknowledgment towards the assessments of educational process was failing and how difficult it was for me to repay to the system and to my parents. I felt big as a failure. With all these opportunity around my area and through the governmental system, I still have not awaken my self from that deep sleep I fell into. I began to use my distractions as a alternative fuel and motive to create excuses for my existence. I mean, I could sit here and talk about all these things that happened in the past but there is not a single dime in the pond that could really create my beloved excuses in not paying close attention towards the rewarding foundation of my educational existence. There are reasons for attending school, for some it might be for achieving higher status which concludes to follow the offspring behaviors but for others, like myself I’m in the system for the higher purpose which in turn are all derived from the ageless limits and its limitations. I would love to graduate with full credit and obtain that degree I longed to contain inside that frame I imagine everyday. In striving for that success, I will do what I have to do in order to continue on with my patterns. For that Journal, I hope your system will continue to inspire myself to improve and along the way help society maintain that great balance that was provided to me as a whole.
